Dear Parents, Guardians, and Care Providers:
Easterseals Centers Will Be Closed but Our Supports and Services Continue
Out of an abundance of caution for the safety and wellbeing for our staff and our program participants, all Easterseals facilities are closed to the public.
Updates from Easterseals South Florida
Updates to Our Programs and Services:
Head Start and education programs will continue to follow the guidance of Miami Dade County Public Schools regarding when to resume in-person classes. In the meantime, teachers are working closely with students and families, providing essential educational materials and resources to continue on-going academic and behavioral progress during the closure.
Adult Day Care and In-Home Respite Services:
In-home respite and case management for our adult day clients will continue while our facilities are closed. Case Managers and Center Directors will continuously outreach to family caregivers to assist and support them.
Resources for Families in Need:
Although our locations are closed, Easterseals staff will continue to work diligently with families in providing necessary resources, services and guidance, and will continue to do so throughout this closure. Families in need of assistance, should contact their Easterseals support team member (Social Worker, Family Support staff, Case Manager or Center Director), as these staff members remain available to support our families.
Easterseals South Florida Administrative Staff:
All administrative staff are working remotely and will continue their work for the duration of the closure. Staff are available via phone and email.

Thank You for Your Support:
We are incredibly grateful to the Alliance for Aging, The United Way of Miami-Dade, The Early Learning Coalition, The Children’s Trust, The Health Foundation of South Florida and many other leading community organizations who have partnered with our leadership/staff to ensure our families receive the essential care and provisions they need as our community takes necessary health and safety precautions against COVID-19.
How You Can Help:
Right now, we are collecting essential items to deliver to approximately 250 seniors and their families who we know are truly in need today. Because these families need us more than ever, we are providing in-home respite and coordinating supports to meet their needs.
