Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s Philadelphia Division seeks an energetic and passionate individual to serve as the Transportation Coordinator for our Approved Private Schools and Early Intervention Center. The selected candidate will coordinate and manage operations related to student transportation for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
The Transportation Coordinator will coordinate and manage operations related to client transportation, including but not limited to supervision of drivers and bus attendants, fleet/inventory management and maintenance, schedule development, vehicle dispatching and record keeping. This is a full time, benefit eligible position working a 52 week calendar.
High School Diploma/GED required.
Current PA Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) with S&P endorsements, or be willing and able to obtain within 6 months of date of hire required.
School Bus driving experience required.
Bus maintenance knowledge preferred.
Strong organizational skills, professional oral and written communications skills, and positive interpersonal skills required.
Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
Ability to lift 60 pounds in the event of an emergency will be required.
Applicants are required to pass Easterseals and Philadelphia School District required background check clearances, pre-employment drug testing and alcohol screening.
