Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Behavior Specialist to support the behavior services provided primarily to students in early intervention classrooms in Levittown Bucks County. This school program services young children with severe and complex disabilities including autism, physical disabilities, and communication limitations. This Behavior Specialist will also support charter school services in Philadelphia county.

Basic Responsibilities:

The Behavior Specialist’s primary role involves providing Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Positive Behavior Support Plans. The Behavior Specialist will assess an individual and develop a complete plan outlining support strategies to address specific target behaviors. The Behavior Specialist will be responsible for training school staff on all aspects of the support plan and providing on-going consultation around implementation of plans and monitoring of behavioral interventions. This position works closely with IEP teams and completion of related IEP paperwork. The Behavior Specialist will provide leadership to our school programs for behavior management by advising therapeutic/teaching staff in implementation of behavior plans and offering relevant training.


Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field required.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred. BCBA eligibility required, BCBA supervision available.

PA Behavior Specialist license required.
Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) experience preferred.

Experience in a school-based/early childhood setting preferred.
Prior crisis prevention/intervention training preferred.
