Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania has an independent contract opportunities for Behavior Specialist to support the behavior services provided to students in our Kulpsville and Levittown PA Approved Private preschool program. This school program services young children with severe and complex disabilities including autism, physical disabilities, and communication limitations. These contract opportunities involve the school year plus a summer program; hours are 9:00AM-3:00PM.

Basic Responsibilities:

The Behavior Specialist’s primary role involves providing Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Positive Behavior Support Plans. The Behavior Specialist will assess an individual and develop a complete plan, which outlines support strategies to address specific target behaviors as identified in the assessment process.  The Behavior Specialist will be responsible for training school staff on all aspects of the support plan and will be responsible for providing on-going consultation around implementation of plans and monitoring of behavioral interventions. This position also involves working closely with IEP teams and completion of related IEP paperwork.


Master’s Degree required in Psychology, Education, or a related field as well as have experience developing behavioral support plans for young children with behavioral concerns.

Pennsylvania LBS required.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.

Prior experience with Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS).
Experience in a school-based and early childhood settings preferred.
