Path to Employment for People Facing Disadvantages or in Need of a Second Chance
Breaking down barriers to employment and building a more diverse and inclusive Greater Cincinnati.
Easterseals is changing the way the world views and defines disability, and we see disability as that which stands in the way of your success. Chronic unemployement or underemployment, criminal records, poverty, and other difficult life situations are a kind of disability, and we treat them accordingly.
We deliver one-on-one attention, finding solutions to the unique challenges faced by each individual and getting you the support you need to find sustainable employment. Programs include:
Building Value
Building Value is an Easterseals social enterprise that salvages reusable building materials for sale to the public. Our efforts help the environment, reduce the cost of waste disposal, invest in the local workforce, and give architectural gems a second life.
On-the-job training positions at Building Value act as a bridge to move people with workforce disadvantages into construction and retail careers. Associates gain resume-building experience in a unique work culture that provides the support they need to succeed long-term.
