Events

Easterseals hosts a number of events throughout the year to raise awareness for people with disabilities, people facing life disadvantages, and veterans. Many of the events are centered around the programs that support them as they find ways to live, work, learn, and play more fully in our community.

Easterseals Honor Ride

On Memorial Day 2020, Easterseals Military & Veteran Services job developer Chris Macklin rode his bicycle 22 miles when inspired by a veteran he served. Chris carried with him the names of dozens of veterans as a tribute to their service to our country.

The Easterseals Honor Ride has now expanded to hundreds of riders and supporters bringing more visibility to the service and sacrifice of those who have worn our nation's uniform, as well as the struggles many face when they return home.

The Easterseals Honor Ride is a way to pay tribute to a loved one who served, while raising funds so that no veteran in need is left behind.
