Annual Golf Tournament

Each year, Easterseals Oregon and Les Schwab host a golf tournament to support Easterseals Summer Camp.

Due to COVID-19, the tournament for 2021 has been cancelled. We are hopeful to resume this annual tournament in 2022.

Support for Easterseals Summer Camp is Still Needed!

Summer camp fills an important need in the lives of many Easterseals clients, and we were able to hold some modified, reduced capacity camp sessions for 2020. Camp staff worked diligently to implement numerous health and safety protocols, resulting in a safe, fun and rejuvenating experience for a limited number of campers. Most of our campers require assistance from the camp scholarship fund, and most of that funding comes from our annual golf tournament. Cancelling this year’s tournament has left our camp scholarship fund deeply in the red.

How Your Support Helps

Easterseals summer camp is a highlight of the year for many of our campers, and your support will go directly to helping a camper with a disability attend camp, regardless of their finances. Campers discover new abilities, gain independence, make lifelong friends and build lasting memories. For some campers, this is one of their few opportunities to experience significant time outdoors and away from the “four walls” they may experience at home. In addition, many caregivers benefit from respite time and an opportunity to rejuvenate themselves.
