Easterseals NH Names Claire Gagnon New Chief Financial Officer
Gagnon Promoted to Replace Retiring CFO Elin Treanor

Manchester, NH, January 12, 2022 – Easterseals New Hampshire, the twelfth largest employer in the state and one of its largest nonprofit social services providers, is pleased to announce the promotion of Claire Gagnon, Senior Vice President/Controller, to the role of Chief Financial Officer, effective February 1, 2022.

Gagnon replaces Elin Treanor, who is retiring from Easterseals after a 41-year career with the agency. Gagnon will oversee a team of 32 and steward an annual budget of more than $100 million.

“The combination of experience and expertise Claire brings to her new role make her an ideal fit for our leadership team,” said Maureen Beauregard, Easterseals New Hampshire President and CEO. “She has seamlessly stewarded our finances through challenging times. We look forward to the contributions she will make in her new position.”

Gagnon, who brings over 30 years of finance experience to her new role, has been with Easterseals New Hampshire for fourteen years, beginning as an accounting manager. Before joining Easterseals, she worked in both for- and non-profit finance settings. Early in her career, Gagnon worked in public accounting, an experience that gave her a unique understanding of the intricacies of receiving state and federal funding. These skills proved instrumental during the pandemic.

Gagnon is a passionate volunteer for Easterseals, supporting dozens of organizational events over her tenure. In her spare time, she serves as treasurer of New Hampshire Legal Assistance and provides free and reduced-rate tax preparation services to those in need as a tax preparer for AARP. She is a member of 100 Women Who Care Southern NH and a graduate of the Leadership Manchester class of 2019.
