Citizens Helping Citizens COVID-19 Relief Awards Easterseals NH $25,000
July 6, 2020
Easterseals NH thanks Citizens Bank for their $25,000 gift to ensure continued services during the COVID-19 pandemic for vulnerable NH residents, including people with disabilities or special needs.
The COVID-19 pandemic has reached into every New Hampshire county, but thanks to the generosity of Citizens Bank, Easterseals NH has been able to adapt services to meet the needs of our most vulnerable citizens. The restrictions imposed by COVID-19 made it challenging for people to access the services they relied on for their health and well-being. We are grateful for our philanthropic partners, including Citizens Bank, who provided support so that we could continue services for low-income families, the elderly, veterans, and individuals with disabilities or special needs. Funds to expand our telehealth capabilities, and purchase emergency goods and services, including PPE meant that clients could continue to receive services while maintaining personal safety.
Maureen Beauregard, President & CEO for Easterseals NH, noted, “COVID-19 has changed all of our lives, but with the generous support of Citizens Bank, Easterseals NH was able to adapt and quickly respond to the needs of the community. Our commitment is to ensure that all of our clients who need assistance during this challenging time receive the services they need. We are incredibly grateful to have partners like Citizens Bank who stepped up and asked, ‘how can we help?’ We honor Citizens Bank for their commitment to communities across New Hampshire.”
“During these challenging times we are proud to join with Easterseals as they work to continue to provide essential services to some of our most vulnerable residents,” said Joe Carelli, president, Citizens Bank, New Hampshire and Vermont. “We continue to work with our neighbors and community partners to support one another all across New Hampshire.”
