WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT becoming a speech language pathologist:
LOCATIONS Services may be provided in an Easterseals outpatient clinic, child development center, as well as at home, at school, and in a variety of other care settings.
HOURS This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, year-round.
WHO YOU WILL SERVE Children from birth-3 years and students ranging in ages 5-21 years old in a special education setting.
TRAINING Easterseals provides a paid orientation and training program, in addition to ongoing professional development with potential for growth.
REQUIREMENTS A master's degree or the equivalent from programs accredited by the Educational Standards Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is required for this position.
COMPENSATION $94,000 annually. Full-time employees are offered competitive benefit packages.
