Residential Support Counselor

As a Residential Support Counselor in our Community Based Services program, you will work one on one with individuals dually diagnosed with persistent mental illness & intellectual disabilities to help them work towards achieving greater independence and community integration within all aspects of their lives. Utilizing evidence based practices, staff will facilitate high quality programming and support individuals during employment, community integration/socialization, recreational activities and daily living skills within their immediate community.

In addition to facilitating and transporting clients to these activities, Residential Support Counselors may also be responsible for assisting with personal care as well as behavioral support as needed throughout their day.

Benefits

REQUIREMENTS
You must be at least 18 years of age and have a Bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled) in human services; psychology or social work preferred, with 1 year of experience working in the Human Services field. Four (4) years in the field of human services can be substituted for the degree. A valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance for transportation requirements is also required.

Pay

COMPENSATION
Pay is $19 per hour. Full-time employees are offered competitive benefits packages.
