WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT becoming a residential instructor:
LOCATIONS Gammon Academy, 200 Zachary Road, Manchester, NH and 525 Prospect Street in Lancaster, NH.
HOURS Second Shift: 3 weekdays, 1:30 pm - 11:00 pm and 1 weekend, 8:00 am - 11:00 pm
Third Shift: 4 weeknights 11:00 pm - 9:00 am, must include a Friday or Saturday overnight shift.
WHO YOU WILL SERVE There are 100 youth in our care, ranging in ages from 5-21 years old.
TRAINING Easterseals provides a paid orientation and training program, in addition to ongoing professional development with potential for growth.
REQUIREMENTS You must possess ONE of the following qualifications:
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with 12 credits in human services, or 12 human service credits combined with 2 years of experience in human services, or 2 years of residential experience, or You are the parent of a child 7 years of age or older.
A reliable vehicle, driver’s license, and insurance are also required.
COMPENSATION 2nd Shift: $21.00 per hour. 3rd Shift: $21.50 per hour. Full-time employees are offered competitive benefit packages.
