Our Mission:
Veterans Count, a program of Easterseals, provides critical and timely clinical and social services, as well as financial assistance, to service members, veterans, and their families when other resources are not available to ensure their dignity, physical and mental health, and overall well-being.
Our Unique Approach:
We developed a one-of-a-kind Care Coordination program that provides confidential support designed to meet the unique needs of service members, veterans, and their families.

- Military sexual trauma, PTSD, and TBI
- Substance use treatment

Meet Sid
Sid’s Veterans Count care coordinator offered a hand-up to support him when he returned from deployment. Together, they addressed Sid’s unique challenges and helped him to take charge of his life again.
Mike & Alex
Mike and his son Alex have faced their fair share of challenges. On September 11, 2017, Karen passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident as Mike, her husband of 22 years, was following her. This loss took a devastating toll on Mike and Alex, both emotionally and financially, making it difficult to go about their daily lives. Read their full story here.
