As a non-profit camping program, we have served children and adults for nearly 50 years. We are dedicated to providing integrated recreational opportunities for our campers
By providing a safe environment, we enable our campers to challenge themselves to learn and grow, develop confidence, and discover how much they can achieve.
Easterseals NH and the Daniel Webster Council, Boy Scouts of America work together at this nationally-recognized, residential camp program, sponsored by the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association to create a life-changing experience for campers.
Located in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH, children and young adults with disabilities and special needs, ages 11-21, can inclusively participate alongside Boy Scouts in a wide variety of activities including aquatics, archery, riflery, zip line/ropes course, STEAM, ecology, arts and crafts, emergency first aid, fire safety, and scout craft.
We believe that every camper should have the opportunity to achieve their goals.
Our top priority is the safety of our campers and staff, and our goal is to create a safe, healthy, and fun environment for all to enjoy a great camping experience. With that said, as of right now, we will not be releasing any 2021 dates or schedules. As more information becomes available regarding the dates of camp, we will be sure to share it with our families!
Through the fundraising efforts of our partners, including the extraordinary efforts of the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association and its clubs, more than $3.2 million has been raised to support Camp Sno-Mo and our campers.
Each year, hundreds of snowmobilers from the Granite State and beyond gather on the first weekend in February for the NHSA’s Annual Easterseals Ride-In to benefit Camp Sno-Mo. The NHSA takes great pride in the the Ride-In and encourages you to participate!
The NH Fish and Game Department also plays a big part in supporting Camp Sno-Mo. Conservation Officers attend the NHSA Ride-In and provide snowmobile rides for Easterseals’ families. During the summer, NHSA and NHFG stock our pond with more than 100 donated fish so our campers can participate in our annual fishing derby.

The care and well-being of our campers is our top priority! Because many of our campers have special medical and/or nutritional needs, fully-trained medical personnel are available 24 hours a day as well as a year-round camp director with more than 20 years of experience. Campers sleep in traditional two-camper platform tents. If needed, campers may also stay in our lodge with accessible bathrooms and bedrooms. Our staff receive extensive training on therapeutic crisis intervention, medical/water safety and first aid/CPR ensuring our campers enjoy a safe and meaningful camp experience. Camp Sno-Mo staff hail from many countries and bring their culture and background with them.
The lodge houses medical staff, handicap and accessible bathrooms and bedrooms.
Last summer was Eyob’s first at Easterseals’ Camp Sno‑Mo, not that you would have guessed this by how quickly and effortlessly Eyob navigated his way around the many program areas at camp. The property spans 3,600 acres and has all the traditional program areas you would expect to find at a summer camp.
Eyob has an infectious smile and a manner about him that is humbling. Every challenge is met with a “yes, I can” attitude, so much so that camp invited Eyob back to camp to become a Counselor-in-Training. This is a voluntary position and one Eyob grabbed with both hands. He is looking forward to working alongside Camp Sno‑mo campers and staff during the summer of 2019.
