Easterseals NH has made the difficult decision to not hold Camp Sno-Mo in person this year. Despite progress made in vaccinations that will hopefully protect us from COVID, we consulted with the New Hampshire Department of Public Health and medical advisors and determined that we could not safely open camp this year.
We know you and your camper are disappointed by this news. We are as well. We exist to support your camper, and provide this summertime experience every year. As you know, many of our campers are medically fragile, and we simply can’t risk anyone’s health.
Instead, we’re hoping you’ll join us for virtual Camp Sno-Mo. This flyer tells you about the activities planned and the dates. In brief, virtual Camp Sno-Mo will be seven week-long sessions, beginning in mid-July and running into August. Each one-week session will be four hours per day, broken into two two-hour sessions. We will be providing individualized, custom activity kits to all campers. Each session will also include a building project, show and tell, yoga, karate, “trips” to foreign countries, story time, and movie nights.
What happens at Easterseals Virtual Camp? We share stories, play games, connect with each other, enjoy music, laugh, and more! We still have space in our upcoming camps. Activity kits will be provided each week your camper is registered and are included in the weekly cost of $160.
Check out this summer’s promotional video from our Camp Director, Chris Ellis. If you have any questions, please contact Camp Director Chris Ellis if your camper is a New Hampshire resident or Desi Forte if your camper is a Massachusetts resident.
