Due to COVID-19, we have made the decision to alter the format of our Annual Eversource Walk & 5K Run for Easterseals. Please see below for how you can still participate and support this year's event!
Join us on our VIRTUAL Race Weekend!
August 28 - August 30
The health and safety of our participants, sponsors, guests, volunteers, and employees is of utmost importance to us, and because of this and how vital this event is to the clients served at Easterseals, we have made the decision to move forward with a VIRTUAL 5K! We know how important this event is to everyone involved, and we want to give you the opportunity to continue to support the event this summer!
Our friends at Millennium Running, have once again stepped up, to assist us on this virtual journey - shout out to MILLENNIUM RUNNING!
We will provide a printable bib number so you can wear it while you complete your 5K. We highly encourage you to take photos of yourself, your team, and your journey and share them with us, as well as post them on your own social networks using #eswalk
As we get closer to event day, we will provide a sign you can print and fill out to honor "Who is Your Why"
Millennium will provide a platform in which you can submit your timing results to, so they are properly tracked for the event
All participants who submit a time will receive a Finisher certificate via email with your posted time and rank
While it is not required, we do encourage each participant to fundraise for the thousands of clients served through Easterseals 12 core programs. Participants that raise $100 or more will receive an event shirt, and those that raise $250 or more will receive an event shirt and an Easterseals travel blanket. The $15 registration fee does count towards your fundraising goal!
Now more than ever Easterseals clients and families need the support of the community to rally behind the importance of our mission, and we hope we can continue to count on you to be part of our success in this GREAT event!
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Christine.
