Old National Bank’s third annual Culinary Queens event in Fort Wayne raised $140,400 for Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana.

In 2018 and 2019, Old National and Easterseals Arc teamed up to recruit the area’s most notable women to prepare their favorite dishes for guests to sample. Queens competed for tips to see who would be crowned as the top fundraiser at the end of the night. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Culinary Queens shifted to a virtual format in 2020.

“This year has been a challenge in so many ways, and we are very grateful to Old National Bank for their continued support and willingness to collaborate on a virtual fundraiser,” said Donna Elbrecht, Easterseals Arc president and CEO. “The money that was raised will help us continue to provide essential services to people with disabilities.”

Participants in the virtual Culinary Queens raised funds online, contributed a recipe for a cookbook, and shared cooking tips via live videos on Zoom and Facebook.

“Old National Bank takes its commitment to building a strong community very seriously,” said Sarah Strimmenos, Old National Bank Market President. “Easterseals Arc and the people they serve have persevered through the challenges of 2020, and I am grateful that we could offer financial support and spread awareness of their mission.”
