Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana has selected recipients for its annual staff and participant awards, despite having to cancel the event. The awards honoring accomplishments for 2019 were originally scheduled to be announced at the organization’s Annual Recognition Celebration in early April.
Staff Awards
Easterseals Arc’s staff awards recognize outstanding dedication to the agency’s purpose and guiding behaviors.
The Purpose Award (for a staff member who goes above and beyond his or her job expectations to make profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day): Rosena Jules, Group Homes
The Seeing the Whole You Award (for a staff member who recognizes the many facets of individuals’ lives and excels at supporting individuals’ full range of needs, interests, and goals): Destinee Walters, Projects Drive Group
The Driven to Achieve Award (for a staff member who empowers those we serve by providing encouragement, assistance and resources): Allison Turner, Employment Services
The Paving the Way Award (for a staff member who strives to remove or overcome barriers that present challenges for people with disabilities): Suzanne Vertigan, Employment Services
The Stronger Together Award (for a staff member who embraces collaboration and cooperation while building partnerships): Phisamay Khaysavang (PK) Wilkins, Supported Living
Direct Support Professional of the Year: Fawn McBride, Adult Day Center
