Home Delivered Meals Qualification

Easterseals Community Services offers home delivered meals to homebound clients in Mahoning and Columbiana Counties. We can deliver once a week, a fully cooked and frozen total meal package containing five (5) entrees and all the sides to go with them.  Each meal with components contains 1/3 of the daily nutritional requirements as outlined by the FDA for seniors. Our meal menu reflects a four week rotation.

Private Pay Meals – There is no age or quantity limit on private pay meals and the cost is $7.00 per meal which includes delivery once a week.

Grant – Eligible seniors 60 and older who live in the counties of Mahoning or Columbiana, are homebound and no longer driving and have no other continuous meal support can sign up to receive the same total meal package of five meals delivered once a week by way of our driver.  The meal service is free and we suggest a donation of $10.00 per box to help cover our expenses; donations are voluntary.  The meals are paid in part through Grants from Direction Home of Eastern Ohio.

All other case managed payer sources (i.e. Caresource, United Healthcare, Medicaid Waiver) – your case manager will contact our office and order meals based on their agency criteria and your client need.  Easterseals is an approved meal agency. Please contact us with any questions.
