Easterseals Massachusetts is excited to refer youth to Easterseals New Hampshire who offer camp opportunities to youth with disabilities this summer. Easterseals NH and the Daniel Webster Council, Boy Scouts of America work together at this nationally-recognized, residential camp program, sponsored by the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association to create a life-changing experience for campers.
Located in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH, children and young adults with disabilities and special needs, ages 11-21, can inclusively participate alongside Boy Scouts in a wide variety of activities including water sports, team sports, hiking, archery, a ropes course and crafts.
As a non-profit camping program, Camp Sno-Mo has served children and adults for more than 40 years. They are dedicated to providing integrated recreational opportunities for campers of all levels. By providing a safe environment, Camp Sno-Mo enables campers to challenge themselves to learn and grow, develop confidence and discover how much they can achieve.
Camper Safety & Reassurance
Many campers have special medical and nutritional needs. Care and welfare of our campers is a priority. Fully-trained medical personnel is on-staff 24 hours a day as well as a year-round camp director with over 16 years of experience. Campers sleep in traditional two-camper platform tents. If needed, campers may also stay in our lodge with handicap-accessible rooms. Camp Sno-Mo staff come from many countries around the world. They bring their culture and share their enthusiasm. They receive extensive training on therapeutic crisis intervention, medical/water safety and first aid/CPR enduring our campers enjoy a safe and meaningful camp experience.
The lodge houses medical staff, handicap and accessible bathrooms and bedrooms.
