Employees of Microsoft Northeast Region are highlighting Easterseals #ESMAMoves and Microsoft’s CSR Sustainability programs through promoting employee nature walks by taking pictures by themselves or with family and friends. Microsoft started an Eco-Challenge for employees during earth day and April and the Northeast is extending into the summer by promoting the beauty of our beaches, forests, state parks, etc. either through walks, working in treehouses, or other ways to enjoy the scenery.

Sustainability in Creating Workspaces in Nature

Microsoft Northeast Region and Microsoft’s CSR Sustainability programs teamed up with Easterseals MA on initiatives to support healthy life choices and sustainability efforts. Microsoft started an Eco-Challenge for employees in April to celebrate Earth Day! The challenge, which goes through the month of July, encourages Microsoft employees to get out in nature in their daily routines, whether it’s working in treehouses, yes, treehouses (see video link), walking with colleagues or otherwise “moving” in nature with family and friends. The Eco-Challenge fit perfectly with the Easterseals MA Move With Me event; a month-long effort that encourages people to get outside and “move” to raise awareness and funds for all the important Easterseals MA programs. Microsoft and Easterseals MA have a long partnership history, you could say that this combined effort is in perfect harmony with their new partner, Mother Nature.

Check out the incredible initiative by Microsoft to create workspaces in nature.
