Give Limitless Possibilities

Donate to Easterseals Louisiana on May 3, 2022

Donate to ESL on May 3, 2022

On May 3rd, Easterseals Louisiana will be participating in Giving Days across the state - Give Nola, SOLA Giving Day, CENLA Giving Day and Give for Good! It’s 1 day of giving, but you have 4 ways to give limitless possibilities to our youth programs like Campership and The Chartwell Center!

These are 24 hour giving movements that are connecting donors to nonprofits in their communities and their funding needs. These events help us raise awareness about the critical role our organization plays in our communities across the state and funds that support our programs that make our mission possible.

That being said - we need your help! Please join our campaign and help us reach our goal of raising $10,000!

We need you to tell your friends and family members about the important work we do and ask them to join us in helping to make a difference.

Get ready to give! Starting at 12AM on May 3rd, visit one of the platforms below, and make your donation. Although the platforms represent different communities in LA, you can donate on whichever platform you wish - all the funds will go together to help us give limitless possibilites through our youth programs - Campership and The Chartwell Center.

No matter how much you can give, any amount can make a BIG impact! You will have 24 hours to make your donation, and all giving will end at 11:59PM on May 3rd.

Programs You Are Supporting

Easterseals Louisiana's Campership Program is in partnership with Camp Hardtner in Pollock, LA who annually hosts their Camp Able one week session every summer.Camp Able's campers experience the joys and challenges of camp in an accessible setting. Through sessions at Camp Able it is our goal to provide a healthier. happier, longer and more productive life for children and adults of all abilities. Annually, Easterseals Louisiana covers the cost of tuition for twenty to twenty-five campers to attend Camp Able, but in recent years due to COVID-19, ESL had provided nearly 100 Camp-In-A-Box experiences to campers annually.

Chartwell Center

As a part of our historic gift from philanthropist and author MacKenzie Scott we engaged our community in a needs assessment in order to identify ways we could increase vital services.  We consistently heard about the need for enhanced supports for individuals with Autism.  This kicked off an exhaustive discovery process to learn more about existing resources and models of care that were already established and successful.  Through this process we deepened our relationship with the Chartwell Center, a unique setting for individuals with autism from age 3 to adulthood. The Chartwell model combines ABA therapy, community based instruction, arts integration, and health and wellness to support the entire person. The boards of both organizations unanimously voted to approve the mergers of our organizations effective January 1, 2022.  ESL looks forward to continuing to invest in the current and future students of Chartwell through additional resources and enhanced service offerings.
