The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center's pediatric therapy gym transforms into a television studio each year for the Easterseals Telethon! The show includes check presentations, a "phone bank" for called-in pledges, local groups competing in the "Dialin' & Duelin' for Dollars" phone area, client interviews, and more.
A highlight of the annual Telethon will be the personal stories of the 2020 local Easterseals Ambassadors, Sandy Ford and Ellie-Jane Pfingston. Be sure to watch at home or stop by and be part of the live audience! The public is invited to visit the Telethon in person from 12-6 p.m.
Members of the Eyewitness News team, pictured above, will host the broadcast. Join us from 12-4PM in the Easterseals Rehab Center's main parking lot for the "Telethon Cruise-In" hosted by the E'ville Iron Street Rod Club! Club members will have several cars available for visitors to view. Make a donation at the "fishbowl" and receive free refreshments!
You can help us meet our fundraising goal by becoming an Easterseals PaceSetter. PaceSetters ask friends, family, co-workers, and more for pledges to the Easterseals Telethon, starting each January. It's easy and fun!
More details will be available soon, so check back often and follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/EastersealsRehabCtr
The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center serves approximately 5,100 children and adults with disabilities from a 30-county area of Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois. No one is turned away due to inability to pay for medical rehabilitation therapy, which is offered on a sliding fee scale. All local contributions to the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center – including all Telethon pledges – stay in the community, underwriting therapy sessions for individuals who cannot otherwise afford these life-changing services at the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center. Financial support is needed year round. Donations can be made any time on our secure donation page; in person or by mail to Easterseals, 3701 Bellemeade Ave., Evansville, IN 47714; or by calling 812-479-1411.
