Adult Day Services

Easterseals Adult Day Services provides a supportive and safe environment where individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, physical and mental disabilities, and other special needs can thrive. Our experienced and well-trained Direct Support Staff work to continuously enrich the lives of individuals who choose to come to Easterseals. Our experienced Direct Support Associates and Mentors engage and support individuals in activities at our facilities, and in the community, while our Job Coaches and Employment Specialists work with individuals in the community and in our facilities to help ensure our employed individuals learn and maintain the skills necessary to grow and succeed. 

Using our fleet of vehicles (both gas and compressed natural gas), our team is able to transport individuals to and from home, activities, and work sites while maintaining their utmost safety.

Program Services:

Day Support Option (DSO) – Our Day Support Option provides individuals with activities and services that promote healthy and safe experiences. Socialization and learning are supported by our friendly and welcoming staff for individuals of all abilities.

Group Supported Employment (GSE) – Our Group Supported Employment services provide individuals with skills and training to work in the community with the support of a Job Coach alongside a group of peers. Individuals in the GSE program are trained and prepared to eventually move into individual employment.

Individually Supported Employment (ISE) – Individuals who engage in our Individual Supported Employment services receive support from Job Coaches who visit them at their place of employment. Job Coaches provides support and guidance based on the individual’s needs to assure that they are successful in their vocational endeavors.

Individualized Day Support (IDN) – Individuals who are looking for alternatives to in center programming can engage in Individualized Day Support. Our Mentors accompany participants to engage in meaningful activities both at home and in the community based on the individual’s needs. Mentors work with their individuals on goals and objectives designed to enrich the individual’s daily life.
