The power of having a diagnosis can transform your child's life. For a young girl that came to Easterseals for neuropsychological testing, her Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis changed everything. With reduced anxiety and stronger coping skills, she was able to attend her high school prom!
A U.S Marine Corps Veteran and single parent of a special needs child, Chris was having difficulty balancing work with raising his disabled son. Easterseals stands with our American Warriors & we provided employment coaching, professional clothing, and more. Now, Chris is able live a meaningful life post-deployment. Donate today to help veterans like Chris live their best lives!
We invite all male and female veterans to join us for conversation and refreshments! No topic off limits. Gatherings are hosted at both Veterans Rally Point locations in Norwich and Rocky Hill (on CTVA campus). Click the link for more details on how to register.
Pediatric Rehabilitation Program
The Pediatric Rehabilitation Program addresses the specialized needs of children ages 4 and up, and adolescents requiring rehabilitative services. The goal is to maximize independence and success in the home, community, and academic settings. This program adopts an interdisciplinary team facilitated approach to the rehabilitation of cognitive, communication, physical, behavioral, and psychosocial impairments. In 2017, we provided services for 192 pediatric patients for Neuropsychological Testing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Social Work services.
