Easterseals understands that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to matching people with a career. We provide an individualized approach to every person we work with, helping them to make informed choices and attain their employment aspirations. We serve veterans, people with disabilities, and people facing disadvantages or in need of a second chance. Learn more.
We are committed to a successful transition from active duty to civilian life. Job Developers work with veterans individually to translate military experience into a civilian resume, coach for interviews, and provide follow-up and mentoring after obtaining employment.
By partnering with local companies and organizations, Easterseals offers paid, on-the-job training programs in construction and manufacturing. Participants gain industry-recognized certifications, and make valuable connections with prospective employers. Training opportunities are available for individuals as young as 17, and are open to those with educational or professional challenges including lack of GED, transient housing, or a criminal record.
