A space left abandoned by the departure of Elder-Beerman in Hamilton was transformed into a pop-up dance club to celebrate InsideOut Studio on September 21. For four packed hours, people of all abilities took to the dance floor as EDM artists DJ Mowgli, DJ Bit Flip, and DJ Fuzzy Logic spun for the crowd.
The event raised more than $30,000 to support the artists of InsideOut Studio. The money raise will pay for adaptive art equipment, community art experiences, and better art supplies. InsideOut employs about 40 artists living with disabilities who make art in the studio located in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Each artist receives 50% commission from art sold in the retail store, which is open to the public Monday - Saturday.
SHIFT sponsors include The Hatton Foundation, Symmetry Boutique & Gallery, Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Butler Tech, thyssenkrupp Bilstein, Community First Solutions, Brookside Animal Hospital, Charles P Debbane DDS, Casper & Casper, GoConcepts, Lamont Jacobs Orthodontics, Telhio, Primary Solutions, LemonGrenade Creative, TV Hamilton, BitFlip Audio, and Elevated Aerialists.

WHO ARE WE? InsideOut Studio is a non-profit program supported by a partnership between Easterseals Serving Greater Cincinnati and Butler County Board of Development Disabilities. We are an art studio comprised of 40 adult artists with a disabilities that work in our studio on a consistent basis.
We empower adult artists with disabilities to earn their own income and gain confidence in their abilities. They create items such as fused glass, clayware, jewelry, paintings and more. We sell these items in our retail store located at the studio and the artists receive a commission for each item sold. Proceeds from this event will directly benefit our artists by allowing us to purchase quality art supplies and equipment they need to create their art.
