SHIFT benefiting InsideOut Studio

SHIFT raises nearly $30,000 for InsideOut Studio!

A space left abandoned by the departure of Elder-Beerman in Hamilton was transformed into a pop-up dance club to celebrate InsideOut Studio on September 21. For four packed hours, people of all abilities took to the dance floor as EDM artists DJ Mowgli, DJ Bit Flip, and DJ Fuzzy Logic spun for the crowd.

SHIFT is an electronic music/ live art event unlike anything experienced in this area. Our event will create a colorful canvas for attendees to paint their energy and creativity via hands-on activities. Professional artists will create artwork via live demonstrations encouraging attendees to get involved. Our InsideOut Studio artists will be among artists demonstrating during the event! This is a 21+ event!

WHO ARE WE? InsideOut Studio is a non-profit program supported by a partnership between Easterseals Serving Greater Cincinnati and Butler County Board of Development Disabilities. We are an art studio comprised of 40 adult artists with a disabilities that work in our studio on a consistent basis.

We empower adult artists with disabilities to earn their own income and gain confidence in their abilities. They create items such as fused glass, clayware, jewelry, paintings and more. We sell these items in our retail store located at the studio and the artists receive a commission for each item sold. Proceeds from this event will directly benefit our artists by allowing us to purchase quality art supplies and equipment they need to create their art.
