Easterseals hosts a number of events throughout the year to raise awareness for people with disabilities, people facing life disadvantages, and veterans. Many of the events are centered around the programs that support them as they find ways to live, work, learn, and play more fully in our community.

Inspired by a veteran he served, Easterseals Military & Veteran Services job developer Chris Macklin rode his bicycle 22 miles on Memorial Day 2020. Chris carried with him the names of dozens of veterans as a tribue to their service to our country.
For 2021, we are expanding the Easterseals Honor Ride to bring more visibility to the service and sacrifice of those who have worn our nation's uniform, as well as the struggles many face when they return home.
Easterseals is committed to ensuring that all who served have somewhere to turn when they need help with employment, disabling injuries, overcoming homelessness, recovering from addiction, and more.
The Easterseals Honor Ride is a way to pay tribute to a loved one who served, while raising funds so that no veteran in need is left behind.

Each fall, Easterseals recognizes inspiring individuals who have achieved success and a community member who has made a difference to the people we serve.
