Young Adults

Easterseals adult day services offer choices for young adults with disabilities who need a safe, supervised social daytime setting. Easterseals adult day time care services, employment and training, LEAP program, and Easterseals Camp Challenge provide appropriate support to younger adults with disabilities, and a chance to live satisfying lives in their communities.

Employment and Training

Easterseals Florida provides employment services programs for adults with disabilities and/or special needs. Our programs offer a wide range of pre-employment and employment programming through day and community programming that allow individuals to gain independence. Individuals learn employability skills, socialization, daily living, and self-advocacy skills in safe, supervised environments.

Life Skills, Employment Readiness, Advocacy, and Participation Program (LEAP)

Through the LEAP program, Easterseals provides a wide range of opportunities for adults with various disabilities to participate in after they have completed school (ages 18+). LEAP eliminates the abrupt end of services when students “age out” of school at the age of 22. This new program will make the transition from school to adult a much better experience for young adults and their families. We are an approved provider through the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) and also offer private pay options

Camping and Recreation
At Easterseals, we believe that friendship, fun and play pave the way for a full life. That’s why we are so proud to have the most unique and accessible camp in all of Florida. Our accessible and barrier-free camping and recreation programs include from summer camp, weekend camps, and family fun days. Children and adults of all types and levels of ability can experience the joys of singing campfire songs and making s’mores at our Easterseals Camp Challenge.

Adult Day Services

Adult day health care programs provide a safe and stimulating environment for older adults and adults with disabilities or special needs. Services are accessible for adults 18 years of age and up. Our programs serve adults experiencing a decrease in physical, mental, or social functioning, providing peace of mind for caregivers.
