Easterseals Florida Day Break at the Miller Center in Orlando/Winter Park and Altrusa House in Gainesville provide person-centered, adult daycare services. Members enjoy activities designed with each individual in mind to benefit their core balance, cognitive and motor skills, problem-solving, socialization, and other important skills. Easterseals Florida Day Break aims to bring a sense of independence, stimulation, and contribution to the quality of life of members and their families. Participation in the adult day program allows time for caregivers and family to work outside the home and provides support for caregivers and other family members. Members engage in fitness, arts and wellness, and social activities daily. Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants ensure that every member of the Day Break family is cared for through health monitoring, medical care, and administration in a safe, familiar environment.

Since November 1, 2007, Easterseals Florida has been home to the Treasure Coast Early Steps (TCES) program. TCES provides early intervention services to children and their families residing in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee Counties on the southeast coast of Florida making it one of the largest regional programs in the state system. Early Steps is Florida's early intervention system that offers services to eligible children, birth to thirty-six months, with significant developmental delays or a condition likely to result in a developmental delay. Early intervention is provided to support families and caregivers in developing competence and confidence to help their child learn and develop.

*NEW* Behavioral Therapy in Orange County! The Behavioral Therapy Program will provide services from youth to young adults of 22 years old. These services will include individual and family therapy utilizing a parent educational concept that will assist the family to help their child as they grow and develop. By teaching the parents the tools they need will result in an increased capacity to better manage their child's problem behaviors for many years to come. This in-home service will only be serving Orange County residents.

Easterseals Florida's medical professionals work together to restore function lost due to temporary conditions such as lower back pain, or permanent disabilities, such as traumatic brain injury. Easterseals Florida also promotes quality of life for individuals with disabilities through education and prevention programs.
