Camp Counselor: Summer Day Camp (Lehigh Valley)

Join us and make a difference in the lives of campers living with disabilities! Camp Lily-Lehigh Valley is an innovative and exciting camp located in the Center Valley, PA. Camp Lily campers participate in diverse activities from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday for six weeks, July 1 - August 9. Orientation and training takes place the week prior. Assist the Camp Director in implementing the curriculum and model the skills needed to ensure each camper has a positive and successful experience. Competitive wages. EOE.

Camp Counselor: Summer Residential Camp (Poconos)

Do you love the great outdoors? Would you like to be part of a camping experience for youth and young adults with disabilities? If so, join us at camp this summer and make a difference in the lives of our campers! Easterseals Camp Growing Green is an innovative camp for youth and adults with disabilities located on the campus of the Pocono Environmental Education Center in Dingmans Ferry, PA. In this beautiful setting in the Pocono Mountains, you will support the needs of campers for six weeks (June 30 – August 9). Counsellors attend orientation and training the week prior to camp. Weekly camp sessions run from Sunday through Friday.

Assist the Camp Director in implementing the curriculum and model the skills needed to ensure each camper has a positive and successful experience. Alongside campers, take part in the weekly camp talent show, field trips to nearby lakes and Bushkill Falls, swimming, hiking, canoeing, environmentally friendly activities and gardening (tend and harvest fresh produce). Competitive wages. EOE.

Registered Nurse (3 weeks at residential summer camp)

We are in search of a registered nurse to join our camp this summer and make a difference in the lives of campers living with disabilities! Easterseals Camp Growing Green is an innovative and exciting camp located on the campus of the Pocono Environmental Education Center in Dingmans’s Ferry, PA. In this beautiful Pocono Mountain setting, you will support the medical needs of campers and staff for three weeks (July 22 – August 9) with a few days prior for orientation. Weekly camp sessions run from Sunday through Friday. Private cottage provided. Competitive wages. EOE.

Community Supports Specialist

Do you enjoy helping others reach their full potential? Join us as a Community Support Specialist and make a lasting impact in the lives of our consumers in the Lehigh Valley or Berks County.

Easterseals Community Support Specialists play an integral role by supporting people with disabilities in a variety of community activities. This interaction assists in the development of meaningful social and job connections in the lives of individuals with disabilities. You will work one-on-one with individuals with special needs to achieve success in volunteer activities (food bank, animal shelters, libraries, etc.), recreational opportunities (art classes, cooking lessons, etc.) and career exploration (resume preparation, etc.).

A High School Diploma and prior experience supporting people with disabilities along with the ability to work in various community settings is required. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, have a valid driver’s license and have the use of a personal vehicle to transport consumers (mileage is reimbursed).

Starting wage is $12 per hour with an increase to $13 after 6 months and $14 after 1 year. An additional $250 bonus is available at one-year of employment.
