COVID-19 UPDATE: I know we are all looking forward to putting COVID-19 behind us so we can get back to doing the things we love….like coming to Camp Fairlee. We had hoped to be able to hold our spring respite sessions at camp. Unfortunately, due to very low enrollment and continued restrictions because of COVID-19, we are announcing the cancellation of the upcoming Respite Weekend sessions for the months of March, April and May.
We remain optimistic about summer sessions at camp and have posted the proposed schedule for the 2021 summer camp season here. We urge you to check back to the website for updates as additional information becomes available.
Please contact the camp office at 410-778-0566 if you have any questions or concerns.
The weekend respite program at Camp Fairlee provides outdoor recreation, fun, and friendship for children and adults with disabilities. Respite weekends provide parents and caregivers rest and relief from the 24-hour responsibility of direct care. Program activities vary depending on the age and ability of the group, but may include sports and games, nature activities, creative arts, outdoor adventure activities, field trips, and more.
Campers stay in one of seven air-conditioned cabins, each of which accommodates groups of same-sex campers and their counselors. Meals are prepared on-site and served family style in the Carpenter Dining Hall.
Camp Fairlee has been providing safe, healthy, fun, and success-oriented recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities for more than 60 years.
