Early Learning Services

Head Start/Early Head Start and Preschool for All/Prevention Initiative

Easterseals partners with early childhood centers in the city of Chicago and suburban Cook County. These collaborations support privately owned centers to engage in ongoing, continuous quality improvement so that they can provide the highest level of comprehensive early learning services and care to children and families. Partnering involves a mixture of direct family support services and coaching, help with data entry, program monitoring and technical assistance, professional development, connections to community resources, and assistance with facility needs and supplies.

The goal of our program is to promote school readiness in young children of all abilities from families that are at-risk due to socio-economic, environmental, or developmental factors. Our center based and home based programs combine high quality early learning experiences for children with comprehensive and integrated services to support the entire family.
