Mary Betsey Tallon

Mary “Betsey” Tallon (MEd, OT/L,) is currently an Autism Specialist where she provides coaching and support to teachers and staff who work with students with autism and related disorders in public and non-public school settings.  She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (OT) and Master of Education in Special Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Betsey has worked as a school and clinic-based OT, and has also served in various Administrative roles within Easterseals, including Clinical Coordinator of Autism Therapeutic Schools, and Instructional Services Coordinator; she has provided support to fellow occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, behavior analysts, music and art therapists and special education teachers. 

Betsey’s professional interests include autism and significant disabilities, self-determination, post-secondary transition, and transdisciplinary collaboration.
