Ranch Respite Program

Ranch Respite Program

Tucson (520) 449-8555 x7037

Our Ranch Respite Program provides relief to caregivers while supporting members in discovering and meeting their maximum potential for healthy, fulfilling, and independent lives through mutual relationships with the natural world.

Therapeutic respite at the Ranch will:

  • Nurture members' relationship with themselves by using strength-based approaches and experiential interventions.
  • Create adventure-based experiences where members are able to take a hands-on approach towards self-exploration and growth.
  • Nurture members' relationship with others by creating an environment of mutual respect in which they engage with peers, mentors, the environment, and animals.
  • Nurture members' relationship with nature by implementing sustainable practices and learning from the natural world.

The safety of the children and families we serve is our top priority, and staff and children all follow our Corona Virus safety protocols of health checks before arrival, masking and social distancing.

Our activities include games, challenges, cooking, gardening, ranch projects, and animal care.

We offer year round respite sessions from 1-6 hours depending on need and schedule. Currently, we are only offering weekday sessions.

During months of June and July, we offer a full-time Summer Respite Program to those children we are able to accommodate.
