Academy Curriculum PageAt The Academy, we offer a variety of curriculum programs, including:

  • STAR (Strategies for Teaching based on Autism Research) teaches children with autism the critical skills using ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) instructional methods of discrete trial training, pivotal response training and teaching functional routines to form the instructional base of this comprehensive program for all children with disabilities.
  • Links (Linking Assessment and Instruction for Independence) is an evidence-based, comprehensive, web-based curriculum to teach upper elementary, secondary, and post-secondary students with autism and other developmental disabilities to be independent across the school, community, and vocational routines.
  • Unique learning system/N2Y is designed specifically to give students with complex learning needs meaningful access to the general curriculum. It has differentiated standards-aligned content enhanced by assessments, data tools, and evidence-based instructional support.
  • Other supplemental materials as needed.
