Every winter, Easterseals UCP offices in North Carolina and Virginia provide holiday programs catering to children and their families living with special needs, disabilities and mental health challenges.
Sensitive Santa events hosted at various Easterseals UCP EMPOWER offices provided many children with an opportunity to meet Santa in a calm environment rather than a noisy mall or places that are sensory challenging. For some, it is the first time they met Jolly Ole St. Nick.
