Raleigh-Veterans Count Program Invitation

RALEIGH-NEW BERN, N.C., October 8, 2015 — Easter Seals UCP North Carolina & Virginia launches the Veterans Count program, a charity and assistance program for veterans and military families.  Currently, active chapters exist in New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

Easter Seals UCP is creating Veterans Count chapters throughout North Carolina beginning with Raleigh and New Bern.

The mission of the Veterans Count program is to provide critical and timely financial assistance and services when no other resource is available to veterans, service members and their families, to ensure their dignity, health and overall well-being.

Veterans Count is a one-of-a-kind Care Coordination program providing free and confidential support designed to meet the unique needs of veterans, military members and their families. Care Coordinators work with clients in a flexible and comfortable setting. They travel to the client and respond to the client’s needs and are not constrained by office hours or locations.

Easter Seals UCP invites the public to two kick-off events. General Harry Miller and Sy Mahfuz will share their passion and the Veterans Count vision with prospective volunteers, donors and anyone that might be interested in joining Easter Seals UCP in our efforts to launch this valuable and very much needed program.
