Jackie Reid has seen babies and toddlers come and go through the doors of the Easterseals UCP Summer Moore Child Development Center.  In fact, she’s cared for infants at the same center for 25 years.

“It has been an absolute joy to work with children and serve the families for the past 25 years, and to make friends and add them to my extended family.”  Staff say it’s often that new families with infants, both typical and special needs babies, arrive and tell them they’ve heard about Jackie’s magic touch.

jackieJackie, who works as the lead teacher in the infants section, has earned the nickname “Baby Whisperer” as staff says she has a calming effect on the babies served at the center.

Easterseals UCP is proud to have a loving and dedicated employee.  Happy 25th Anniversary Jackie!

Summer Moore Child Development Center is located in Greenville and serves children with and without disabilities from birth to five years old.
