“Annual Judged Art Show 2016” will be held at For Art’s Sake Gallery, Studio & Framing from February 29–March 28, 2016. Opening reception will be held Friday, March 4th from 5-8p.m. and will be judged by professional artist, Jos Biviano. There will be approximately 40 adult artists participating in the show from For Art’s Sake Gallery & Studio. All works in the show are for sale and 15% of the proceeds benefit Easter Seals, which provides services to children and adults with disabilities.This will be our thirteenth art show and the third working with and benefiting:Easter Seals UCP.
We will be accepting donations for a chance to win an original acrylic painting of the iconic Main Street Station painted by the artists of For Art’s Sake. Last chance to donate for the drawing will be the night of the opening: March 4, 2016.
Donation tickets are $10 per ticket or 3 for $25.00. 100% of donations from the group painting benefit Easter Seals UCP, a nonprofit organization that provides services to individuals of all ages with disabilities, physical, mental and intellectual challenges. The main program in Virginia is the Summer Camp Easter Seals located in Craig County, just outside of the Roanoke area where over 500 attend each year for a week of recreation as well as education resources.
The group painting will remain on display at For Art’s Sake for the duration of the show.
