foster care

Foster care parents and their families are amazing people as they accept children with disabilities in varying degrees into their homes.  For many of these boys and girls, it’s a safe place while custody, court issues and adoptions are worked out.  Deborah and her children have opened their doors to foster care boys and girls.  She said, “Being a foster parent is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.  You get to see a child work on their goals and make so many advances.  It’s wonderful to help them learn and transition quite well.”
