18 months ago, Robert Chapman decided to take action in making a difference in his local community. After a Google search to find the perfect partner, he decided to financially support Easterseals UCP for a variety of reasons.
Most importantly, Robert wanted to support an organization that serves children and adults living with both developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. He also wanted to financially contribute to an organization that directly helps these underserved individuals and families achieve their goals to live a better life. When Robert connected with Easterseals UCP, he knew he had found the perfect partner!
Robert was immediately drawn to Easterseals UCP’s mission to provide meaningful and exceptional services so that children, adults and families living with disabilities and mental health challenges can live, learn, work and play in their communities. He also wanted to be part of an organization that serves a population he believes to be widely underserved.
Robert decided to contribute a monthly recurring donation to Easterseals UCP. The benefit to Robert is the ability to spread the financial impact of his giving throughout the year. This makes his ongoing contributions manageable and yet, still incredibly meaningful to us.
With sustained giving, donors are able to determine the frequency (i.e., monthly, quarterly, etc.) and the amount of their gifts. It is a convenient way to budget for charitable donations, while playing an essential role in our ability to continue our mission, support our programs and directly impact the individual lives of the communities we serve.
“I like to see my impact continually grow. Coming from a business background, I know sustained giving demonstrates a longer-term commitment to an organization’s success, sometimes even more than a one-time donation,” says Robert.
“We are incredibly grateful and appreciative of Robert’s sustained giving. His generosity and commitment goes a long way in helping our dedicated, essential frontline workers in addition to investing additional resources needed to manage our programs. We need more partners like Robert!” says Cheryl Tuning, Chief Marketing Officer of Easterseals UCP.
