Manakin Sabot, VA, April 29, 2019
Over 250 guests enjoyed a family outing on the scenic grounds of historic Sabot Hill, the home of Sarah and John Van Der Hyde. The Community Family Egg Hunt was a big success – raising $47,000 dedicated to Camp Easterseals UCP scholarships for children and adults living with disabilities and mental health challenges.
Participants took part in the annual egg hunt, lawn games, exploring the local fire engine and ambulance, testing their talents on musical instruments from the RSOL Musical Instrument Petting Zoo, crafts, visits with Nutzy, face painting and picnicking. The lucky golden eggs had special prizes and there were fabulous raffle prizes.
Thanks to the generous sponsors with Page Auto Group leading the way as the Title Sponsor, along with partners and donors. As a result of the Community Family Egg Hunt fundraiser, 47 children with special needs will receive scholarships to Camp Easterseals UCP this summer!
