Multi-Sensory Environment

Located in the Easter Seals UCP Center in Charlotte, The Yager Group Multisensory Environment  (MSE) is designed to stimulate the senses and promote feelings of well-being and relaxation.  A multi sensory environment is a room where sensory stimulation can be controlled and matched to fit the interests, leisure, therapeutic and or educational needs of the user. Therapy incorporates lighting effects, sensory activities, tactile experiences, sound effects, motion stimulation and much more. It has benefits for children with a wide range of disabilities including autism, sensory integration disorder, cerebral palsy, cognitive impairments, visual impairments and others.

We are pleased to make this wonderful resource available to anyone in the community. To learn more about the benefits of the MSE or to make an appointment, call 704-783-5121.
