AgrAbility Virginia assists farmers, farmworkers and their families who identify with illness, injury or disability to work safely and productively with dignity through education, rehabilitative services and assistive technology. AgrAbility Virginia services are funded through USDA NIFA (National Institute of Food and Agriculture) and free to Virginians.
Easterseals UCP partners with Virginia Tech, Virginia State University and Virginia Cooperative Extension to deliver this program throughout the state. We play a vital role in increasing the awareness of the program’s services and providing disability expertise to AgrAbility Virginia’s clients and their families. Additionally, Easterseals UCP manages and administers the AgrAbility Virginia Assistive Technology Fund, a resource for farmers to help purchase tools and equipment that will help maintain or improve functional capabilities and reduce secondary injuries.

The AgrAbility Virginia Assistive Technology FundAgrAbility Virginia works to help farmers and farm workers with injury, illness, or disability to continue working safely and efficiently. Assistive technologies are one way we accomplish this mission. If our clients or partners are not able to provide funding for technologies, we can utilize the Assistive Technology Fund. A great way to support the work of AgrAbility Virginia is to donate to this fund.
