The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic Raising Awareness for Suicide Prevention

Darkness

In support of National Suicide Awareness Prevention Month, the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Easterseals will be participating in two upcoming Out of the Darkness Community Walks on Saturday, September 29, and Saturday, October 20.

The Military Family Clinic (MFC) will be walking as a team, and we invite you to join us in raising awareness about suicide prevention. We hope that our efforts will help us to reach out to those affected by suicide, raise awareness, and connect individuals with suicidal ideation to treatment services.

The event will take place in Rockville at the Rockville Town Square. Registration begins at 9:30am, and the two mile walk will take place from 11:00am to 1:00pm. There is no cost to participate, and this is a family-friendly and pet-friendly event.

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Easterseals provides high-quality, accessible, and integrated behavioral health care to veterans and their families or caregivers. Our no or low-cost services are available to any person who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves, regardless of role or discharge status.
