Celebrating 80 Years

Jubilee Campaign Logo

"Let the trumpets sound, the flags fly and fun begin as Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin marks our 80th Anniversary. It is 80 years of connecting individuals to a world of possibilities from our youngest child, just a few months old, receiving therapy so he can start school with his peers to our oldest participant who lived through the Depression, who needs support to stay in her home that she loves. These are the faces of Easter Seals."

See how we've grown!

  • We started with one Camp location at Holler Park, and now 230 campers enjoy their summer in four of our locations.
  • We started with one Adult Day site, and now have four locations serving over 160 individuals in Milwaukee, Waukesha and Kenosha counties.
  • We provided therapy for over 365 children in our Birth to Three early intervention and Autism programs, giving kids the best possible head start at home and at school.
  • We served over 700 adults in our Guardianship and CMU programs that support independent living allowing them to remain independent in their own homes and the opportunity to be active in their local communities.
  • We touch the lives of over 10,000 people each year in Southeast Wisconsin.

"We are proud of this legacy of service, but even more excited about our future with rapidly expanding services for children with autism, continued expansion of our community employment options through Project SEARCH and our newest initiatives to help our returning military members and their families.

On our 70th Anniversary, we announced the merger of Easter Seals and Kindcare, on the 75th Anniversary we celebrated our merger with Waukesha Training Center. As we turn 80, we are charting a new course for our commercial services, LilyWorks, significantly enhancing our workforce skills training." -Bob Glowacki, CEO

We are proud to announce plans to expand our Workforce Training Center. The two major components of the project are a fully accessible commercial training/catering kitchen and state of the art adaptive technology center. Click here to learn more about this exciting expansion project.
