Easterseals is pleased to announce The Ruby Diamond Foundation granted the organization $2,470.00 to support people with disabilities and their families.
Established in 1982, The Ruby Diamond Foundation has partnered with Easterseals since 2012. Miss Diamond funded the Foundation by a bequest in her will and it was Miss Diamond’s intention to perpetuate her lifelong commitment of contributions to Florida, national and international charitable organizations. Since 1983, the Foundation has given over $5 million to various charities across the country.
“At Easterseals we’re committed to changing the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day,” said Bill Fehrman, Vice President of Development at Easterseals “and it’s thanks to the generosity of foundations like The Ruby Diamond Foundation that allows us to make those differences.”
For nearly 100 years, Easterseals has been the indispensable resource for people and families facing disability. Through the work we do in communities across America, Easterseals is changing the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day. Join us as we take on disability together.
