Bridget Hayman

Bridget Hayman is an accomplished writer and digital media strategist who discovered her love for all things digital more than 15 years ago while on the hunt for Chicago’s best cupcake.  That personal quest began online and led her to dozens and dozens of glorious frosted confections (YUM!), but more importantly, it connected her with other digital pioneers through social media — ultimately changing the course of her communications career. Bridget has since built online content strategies for healthcare companies, financial institutions and nonprofits.

As a woman with Cerebral Palsy who uses a wheelchair herself, she brings a unique personal perspective to her work.  She is also no stranger to Easterseals. She was a precocious nine-year-old the first time she went to Easterseals camp in the Colorado Rockies.  That first taste of independence at camp changed her life, and now she’s so excited to introduce Easterseals to others who could also benefit from its services.

Bridget is a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, with an MA in Visual Culture from Lancaster University, England, and she has a triple BA in English, Journalism, and Public Relations from the University of Northern Colorado.
