The Gilded Lilies “Tropical Lilies” Luncheon was a true success raising over $35,000 for the individuals and families of Easterseals South Florida living with Alzheimer’s, autism and other disabilities. The luncheon took place at The Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne, and honored beloved Gilded Lilies founder Eugenia McCrea “Ms. Ginnie” for the beautiful legacy she left behind and for the over 40 years of dedication and love she poured into the lives at Easterseals South Florida. The luncheon also featured a fashion show hosted and sponsored by Second Showing vintage store, where Gilded Lilies members held a fashion show displaying stylish selections for all to see.
Gilded Lilies was founded February 15, 1975 by Joan Caldwell Marshall, an Easterseals Board Member, to be an auxiliary of Easterseals volunteers and fundraising. The Lilies have contributed close to 1 million dollars to Easterseals through countless hours and numerous fundraising efforts.
